Our Philosophy

SEN Tutors believe in a child centred approach, this places the child at the centre of the learning process to meet the individual needs of each child. This type of approach begins by looking at the child's interests and experiences they've already received, then listening to their ideas. The child will then become part of the planning (parents and carers are able support if the child needs help communicating).

A child centred approach is a basis to encourage the child to develop independence and to be able to form and voice their own opinions. Children and young people learn by receiving direct experiences that help them to develop confidence.
